Hey Everyone,

This clinic is an opportunity for me to share how we prep a horse for first rides. All my first rides are in a halter bare back.

How do we do that? TRUST Allow me to mentor you in a way that helps you understand any horse from a deeper level, so you can transfer the skills you learn to help many horses in your life time. We will share the safety check lists, that I use, to keep me safe when starting horses for the public. During these clinic lets dig deep to discover what are the things holding us back and how we feel with our youngsters. Let’s learn real tools to help us stay calm in moments of fear, so we can become a mentor for our horses, helping them be calm in moments of fear. With the result being, all of us riding safe and brave, All levels of horse and rider or handler combination welcome: unstarted, re-start, or problems under saddle.

Clinic Structure Day 1, 8:30am: Sign in and Induction to how horses learn best.

9:00am Sore horse check 9:30 Connection, liberty, communication on a halter

11:30 Lunch 12:15pm

Getting our horses brave, new things new situations, obstacle course, walk out.

Day 2: 8:30 Recap yesterday see how our horses are going.

9:30 Braving section continues, feet, girth prep, saddle prep, rider above them, etc.

Lunch 11:30-12:15: float loading, washing, first sit on etc.,

Camping powered site and yards for horses: $10 Everyone welcome to join us for a meal at the Coominya Pub Saturday night. Riders 2 days: $250, 1 Day: $130 Fence sitters 2 Days $50, 1 Day $25
